Ashray Akruti
About Ashray Akruti in Hyderabad, India:
Ashray Akruti is a non-profit, non-religious organization working for the benefit of hearing-impaired children, coming from different states of India. They were awarded the ‘Best NGO in Hyderabad’ in 2017 by the Government of Telangana.
Ashray Akruti was born 25 years ago in Hyderabad with a vision to create an even playing field for needy children suffering from hearing impediments/loss. Their vision has been to empower them with quality and inclusive education, specialized health care, and sustainable skills training thereby enabling them to attain sustained economic independence.
Over the years, Ashray Akruti has innovatively broadened its scope of intervention to provide holistic health care by providing newborn hearing screening, and cochlear implant fittings, when necessary.

The Covid-19 Pandemic has also drastically impacted Ashray Akruti and its projects during the years 2020 through 2022 year. Ashray Akruti approached Hope for Humanity Inc (HFH) in May 2022 and requested HFH support to bring the organization back to normal or new normal.
Hope For Humanity sponsored 54 Students in high school, covering the cost of the Special Education program. Additionally, HFH sponsored 19 more high school students, covering the cost of the Special Education program along with room & board. HFH was able to do this because of our generous donors who supported the organization in the academic year 2022-2023.

HFH has continued to sponsor about 59 students in the first category (i.e., cost of the Special Education program ) and 22 students in the latter category (i.e., program cost with room and board).
The cost of sponsoring the Special Education program per student is $200 per year and is $325 per student for the special program with room & board. If you need more information or clarification, please contact through HFH email (hfhhopeforhumanity@gmail.com).
