Our Mission

At Hope For Humanity, we aim to help those most in need in India and U.S by supporting projects in Education and Economic Empowerment.

We deal directly with social workers at agencies we partner with, and our goal is for 100% of donated funds to be spent on worthy causes without any overhead costs. This approach is made possible by our dedicated volunteers who donate their time free of charge.

Overview

In 2009, we began supporting 20 children at the Hope For Humanity school in Vijayawada, India. With the support of our generous donors we have been able to increase this number to over 250 children.

Another reason for this phenomenal growth is that sponsors can be connected to the students through visits to the school, greeting card exchanges, videos, emails and face time. This provides a sense of personal and close touch with the child they sponsor.

A sense of belonging for the child is very important so that they know someone cares for their welfare and well being. This seed we instill in them lasts a lifetime. This is how your investment becomes fruitful.

With your generous and continuing contributions, our goal is to increase support at our Hope For Humanity School from 250 to 350 children.

In addition to the Hope for Humanity School, we also support our Vocational Training Center where women without higher education can learn different skills, in sewing/tailoring, which allow them to begin earning an income to help support their own families.

Since its establishment in 2007, Hope for Humanity Inc has provided training for over two hundred women under Saraswathi Surpaneni and distributed over 110 sewing machines to women in need. Saraswathi started this program in Vanasthallipuram, Hyderabad in 2006 and moved to Vijayawada in 2009. Saraswathi ended the program in June 2024 because most local women in need had already received training.

But we continued this program at Sabala Skill development center under the management of Naga Mohan of Extramile for smile (NGO) and the trainer, Mrs. Sarita Cheguri at Mallapur Hyderabad. Hope for Humanity is donating five sewing machines to the needy women trained here every quarter. Mallapur needs a long-term training program.
