Women Empowerment Program:
They have established a free training center for needy women in Hyderabad. Three to four batches of new trainees have been trained every year at this center and Hope for Humanity is contributing about twelve sewing machines a year to the needy women, trained by Training Center.
Sphoorti Foundation and Extra Mile
The Sphoorti Foundation and its sister organization, Extra Mile, have collaborated with 13 orphanage centers for girls in and around Hyderabad and have distributed undergarments for over six hundred girls.
Hope For Humanity contributed enough funds to distribute undergarments for 243 girls, living in four orphanage centers during March 2024. HFH also contributed to distribute Chunni & Leggings for 120 girls in three children’s homes (Welfare and Rehabilitation Centers) on National Girls Child Day on January 24th, 2023.
HFH also sponsored the purchase of a two-month supply of groceries for twenty-seven elderly single women in the village of Kappaladoddi, AP in February 2024 and aided in the distribution to them.
Both organizations distribute over 600 winter blankets every year to homeless people, Senior Living centers, and tribal villages in AP & TS states including Hyderabad area since 2022. Hope for Humanity covers the cost of the blankets and assists with ensuring they are properly distributed. This program was initiated by a few generous HFH donors.
Sphoorti Foundation runs educational sponsorship programs for
underprivileged students and provides many goods and services, including the collection and distribution of items including but not limited to books and uniforms. Hope For Humanity has contributed to purchasing enough books for 350 children and distributed them recently, this March / April of 2024.
